Your Credit Reports During the COVID-19 Pandemic

TransUnion, Equifax and Experian will not be able to help you because it is up to each individual creditor on how they report your account payment history. The most each agency will tell you is to monitor your credit closely and watch for identity theft.

If you have been impacted by loss of job, a reduction of pay, or own a business who had to close their doors because of coronavirus, you need to contact your individual creditors and ask them what their plan is regarding your payments if you are not able to make a payment within the 30 day grace period.
